Sales Leader – Northern & Central California (Remote)

Job Description

Duties include, but are not limited to, building the sales of our portfolio of products including DuPont Corian® Solid Surface, DuPont Corian® Quartz, Arpa HPL and Fenix, and Lapitec® Sintered Stone.

Responsible for supervising and organizing the Northern & Central California Sales team by developing business plans, meeting planned goals and coordinating with our marketing department regarding programs to support growth and lead generation. You are tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual targets, and facilitating the ongoing training of your salespeople.

General Responsibilities
  • Managing your team by developing, executing, and tracking business plans.
  • Meeting planned sales goals.
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
  • Keeping Sales Force territory dashboards up to date and mentoring your team to perform KPI’s pertaining to this.
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team.
  • Ongoing training of your salespeople.
  • Developing your sales team through motivation, mentoring and product knowledge education.
  • Host annual reviews with your sales team one on one.
  • Promoting Willis and our products / partners.
  • Understanding our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.

Qualifications
  • College degree preferred
  • Previous sales experience (min 1-3 years) in the architectural/design/construction industries is preferred
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce

Travel

Ability to travel daily within the designated sales territory.

Candidates will use their own vehicle on the road visiting clients and be compensated monthly with a generous automotive allowance to cover fuel and other vehicle expenses.

Overnight travel is not necessary to maintain most accounts but may be required throughout the year for company events, tradeshows, sales meetings, etc.
